Church Cove Cornwall
photo

The church at Church Cove nestles into the cliff for protection. It dates from the 13th century and one of bells was cast in 1480. It was built by a grateful survivor of a shipwreck a little further north at Gunwalloe.

The present building is on the site of the chapel of the former great manor of Winnainton, which is mentioned in Domesday.

A CDROM version of the PhotoTour with over 540 high-quality photos of larger size is available from the Association's shop.
