Dr Syntax's Head	West Penwith

This view of Pedn-Mên-Du was taken from Trevescan Cliff. It looks north to the Point with it's Coast Guard lookout. In the distance is Cape Cornwall, 4 miles away.

It was a perfect Summer's day, visibility good and not a cloud in the sky. What a difference to the day before--August 11th 1999--when cloud and rain completely obscured the total eclipse of the Sun! Oh well, that's English weather for you!
