photo

The Minehead marker was officially installed on 14th February 2001. It was unveiled by Sarah Ward, the art student who designed it, and Sir Ian Amory, Chairman South West Coast Path Forum. It represents a pair of hands holding a map sculpted by Owen Cunningham.

The Marker was part-paid for by the South West Coast Path Association's Silver Jubilee Appeal which was set up in 1998.

A CDROM version of the PhotoTour with over 540 high-quality photos of larger size is available from the Association's shop.
