Porlock Bay North Devon & Somerset
photo

In October 1996, a combination of tides, wind and rain caused extensive flooding along the Exmoor coast. The shingle ridge along Porlock Bay was breached and as a result the route of the path no longer follows the shore-line, but deviates inland round the back of the marsh. Look out for maps showing the route in the area.

This photo was taken in autumn 1991.

A CDROM version of the PhotoTour with over 540 high-quality photos of larger size is available from the Association's shop.
